Flower - Daily Poem 13

Flower

So blossom and bloom 

From that shoot of pink

So bright and ripe in color

That was your past home

Grow and mature

And unveil the true you

The you that you were meant to be

And let the air envelop you

So, watch those bees come and go

They might avoid you as of now

But soon you will see

You will be loved

But as you wilt away,

Know that this was not in vain

For I was able to notice

And the story was able to be told

Now you are loved by one and all

But your purpose was not fulfilled

So what shall you do

Now that there is no you

Seeds weren’t able to grow

Because of you

And you kept to yourself, 

Thinking that only a simple tease would do

But so, let this failure be known

So, let the world know what you did

You didn’t do enough

And lost the world for it
