Emptiful - Daily Poem 15

Emptiful

Burning brighter

Making lighter

Troubles turned to ash

Worries turned to embers


Snap, crackle, and pop

But sound is not enough

The intensity, the feeling

Is needed evermore


It seems as if it’s dying

Reignite it!

Place all the wood in to keep it burning

Stack it up until you smother yourself!


Keep on shoving 

Keep on pushing

Rejoice at the relief

And recoil from the emptiness

    I like the poem. Written 2/6/19. A common thing that you'll find is that I use fire a lot. Anyways, let me know what you think below!
