Determined to End This Disbelief - Daily Poem 6

Determined to End This Disbelief

I may lose my life

But my soul will stay

As long as my soul stays

You haven’t won

It’ll burn

Burn brighter than before

Burn brighter than your determination

Someone else will have this soul

You may never, though,

You never had a space for one to begin with

Sparing is not an option

Forgiveness can not be asked

My soul burns

With the yellow, orange, and blues of a flame

It’s not dying though

It’s starting

Let this be a symbol
You can come back
I’ll still stand

You can’t let me down more than once

I’m not a coward

I’m not a killer

I’m not a backstabber

I’m not a monster

I’m not a megalomaniac

I don’t back away

I don’t think I’m above consequences

I don’t fight unfairly

I don’t…

I don’t have anything left

  1. This was written in 3/14/18 and was the last of my Undertale poems, and with that, the last poem for a few months. If you know the Disbelief AU, yeah, it's just that Papyrus. Yes, I know, very creative. Let me know what you think!
